Play responsibly at Emberdorne
Glints have no cash value, but your evening, your sleep and your attention do. This page holds every tool the keep has for keeping play the size you want it, a private self-check, and where to find free help in the UK.

Your settings: ember check every 30 minutes, no round limit, no stake limit, no quiet hours.
A visit is this browser tab. It ends when the tab is closed, or after 30 minutes with nothing played or opened.
Your tools
All of them work on this device only, without an account or an email.
Ember checks
A short reminder that stops the game and shows your time, rounds, glints staked and the change for the visit. You choose to stop for now, which rests the chambers for 30 minutes, or to keep playing.
Round limit for each visit
When you have played this many rounds in a visit, every chamber shuts until the visit ends. A round already under way can always be finished.
Once a limit is reached it cannot be raised or removed until the visit is over.
Stake limit for each visit
A ceiling on the glints you put in during one visit, whatever comes back. Glints are worthless, but a ceiling is a good habit to practise where nothing is at risk.
The same rule applies: once reached, it stays until the visit is over.
Quiet hours
Choose a time each night after which the chambers stay shut on this device until 07:00. While quiet hours are on, the setting cannot be changed or switched off.
No quiet hours set.
Pause the chambers
Pick how long every chamber stays shut on this device. Reading pages and settings stay open.
A 30-minute pause can be lifted early. A pause of 4 hours or more runs to the end and can only be made longer.
Calm mode
Switches off every animation in the keep: reels and gems appear at once, dice settle without a roll and nothing glows or slides. Results are exactly the same.
Pauses and quiet hours stay on this device whatever you chose about storage, so clearing glints or banners never lifts them. Clearing the whole browser does, which is why the blocking tools further down exist.
A private self-check
Scored on this page only. Nothing is saved or sent.
Think about the last three months of any gambling you do, online or anywhere else, not only this site. For each statement, choose how often it has been true. This is not a diagnosis, just a nudge to look honestly.
Signs worth noticing
- You plan to play for ten minutes and look up an hour later, more than once a week.
- A "last round" keeps turning into several more.
- You think about getting back what was lost rather than about the game.
- Playing is what you turn to first when you feel low, bored or anxious.
- You feel a pull to move from free games like these to games played for money.
- Sleep, meals, work or people start to give way to playing.
Noticing one of these is not a verdict on you. It is a good moment to use a tool above, take a longer pause or talk to someone.
Block gambling where it matters
- GAMSTOP: free self-exclusion from every gambling website and app licensed in Great Britain, for 6 months, a year or 5 years.
- Gamban: an app that stops gambling websites and apps opening on your devices.
- Your bank: many UK banks and card issuers let you switch on a gambling block in their app, which refuses payments to gambling firms.
Emberdorne has no money in it, so these tools do not apply to us, but if gambling for money is a worry they are the most effective first step.
UK services that can help
- GamCare: the National Gambling Helpline, 0808 8020 133, free at any hour, with web chat too, and help for people close to someone who gambles.
- Gordon Moody: live-in and online recovery courses, including women-only support and help for people harmed by a relative's gambling.
- Gambling Therapy: free online support groups and chat, in a wide range of languages.
- NHS: guidance on gambling harm and referral to the specialist NHS gambling clinics.
- Gamblers Anonymous: peer support meetings, with links to groups across the UK.
- Samaritans: when everything feels too heavy, ring 116 123 free, day or night.
- Childline: for children and young people, free and confidential on 0800 1111.
- Internet Matters: guides for parents on parental controls and keeping children away from adult content and gambling.
Under 18s
Emberdorne is for adults only. We ask your age once, at the gate, and close the keep to anyone who says they are under 18. We do not use child-friendly characters or cartoon art in the chambers, and we do not advertise anywhere children are the audience.
If you share a device with children, a parental-control profile or a separate user account is the most reliable way to keep adult sites out of reach. Internet Matters walks through the settings device by device.
Our promises
- Glints will never be sold, and nothing here will ever pay out money or prizes.
- No autoplay, no turbo, no countdowns and no "come back tomorrow" rewards.
- No invented players, winners or busy-room tricks.
- Every pay table in the open, and results that never depend on who you are.
- Breaks you set stay set: long pauses and quiet hours cannot be cut short.
