What Emberdorne is
Emberdorne is a keep with seven chambers, each holding one game we designed and built ourselves: Lava Rise, Ash & Ore, Hearth Swap, Ember Steps, Sevenfold, Close the Gates and Stoke. Each one runs on glints, points with no cash value, and the site sells nothing. Outside the keep, Free Roam reviews eight ordinary browser games and links to their official sites.
Why we built it
Plenty of people like the feel and pace of casino-style games and want no money anywhere near them. We wanted a place for that which is honest about the arithmetic, puts its pay tables in the open and treats stopping as part of the design rather than an afterthought.
How the games are made
Every chamber is our own idea, written in plain JavaScript and checked with long simulations before it went live, so that each one behaves the way its pay table says. Results come from your browser's random number generator and never depend on who you are. The art is made for this site; no game, name or picture comes from a gambling company.
What we will never do
- We will never sell glints, chamber features or anything else.
- We will never offer money, prizes or rewards with value.
- We will never show adverts or run trackers.
- We will never invent players, winners or busy rooms.
- We will never push you to come back with timers or daily rewards.
